World Trade Center Zagreb

Established in 1970 to encoutage the expansion of world trade through the World Trade Center concept, the World Trade Center Association - WTCA has grown to become a network of over 289 member organizations in over 80 countries world wide. The Association is dedicated to three basic goals: encouraging mutual assistance and cooperation amnog memebers, promoting international business relationships, and fostering increased particiation in world trade by industrializing nations.Not-profit and apolitical, the Association continues to grow, expanding partnerships and trade links throghout the globe. More than 400 000 companies involved in international trede are currently affiliated with the WTCA's member organizations.

WORLD TRADE CENTER ZAGREB

In April 1990 the City of Zagreb was accepted as a member of the World Trade Centers Associaton, the most important world business family with approximately 300 members from more than 80 countries.WORLD TRADE CENTER ZAGREB is designed to meet your needs. WTC Zagreb helps you to improve your business dealing with this part of the world. Temporary exhibit and display facilities According to your participation in our needs the WTC Zagreb will organize your participation in our existing fair events, special presentation and display activities.

Services offered by WTC ZAGREB members:

1. Trade information services

The WTC Zagreb has at its disposal a library. According to the specific needs of foreign companies and other WTC's, the WTC Zagreb can access the data base of the relevant domestic sources upon inquiry. Basic lists of Croatian impories, exporters nad manufacturers including their address and activity description are also availble.

2. Telecommunications services

The WTC zagreb allows a businessman to make use of the WTC office address, as a reception center for his mail, telegrams, telexes, faxes and telephone calls from his clients. The WTC Zagreb staff will send and receive telexes, fax and network massages on behalf of visiting members.

3. Group trade missions

The WTC Zagreb can assist visiting WTCA group trade mission with the following services: arranging hotel accommodation, communication and transporatation, meeting, reception and idplay facilities: appointments with goverment departments concerned: meeting with local trade organizations and/or manufacturers; inroducing potential counterparts for business negatiation; providing meeting rooms, interpreters and secrtarial services ; assistance with individual lists for receptions; itineraries for visiting other cities or regions "follow-up" services left by visiting missions.

4. Outgoing trade missions

The WTC Zagreb organized as needed Outgoing Trade Missions to establish contacts and to develop trade activites between Croatia and the world.

5. WTC Club

In the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere of the WTC Zagreb Club you will be able to meet your business partners.

6. Meeting facilities

The WTC Zagreb offers advanced meeting facilites: The total capacitiy of theese auditorums is 2400 seats, and largest conference hall can seat 1200 persons. The smaller halls and coference rooms are designed for work in groups of 40 to 300 participants.

7. Temporary offices

Temporary offices are availble. The extent of business support provides secretarial services including typing, photocopying, telexes, fax, translating, interpretation and bulk mailings.

8. Trade education services

The WTC Zagreb organizes workshops and seminars that provide decision - making information necessary to conduct international business. The WTC Zagreb offers practical business courses, seminars and lectures for executives involved in international trade.
