REPUBLIC OF POLAND

The Republic of Poland that assumed presidency over the European Union in July 2011 will participate as the "partner country" at the Zagreb Fair from 14 - 18 September 2011.

The Republic of Poland is situated at the heart of continental Europe.

Since it comprises a market of 38 million consumers, it is positioned among very significant markets of the European continent.

The project “partner country” stands for a group presentation of economic subjects at a collective exhibition space, whose appearance features their economic, cultural, ethnographic, gastronomic and other characteristics they prefer to emphasize.

At the joint exhibition space of Poland in the pavilion 7 the economists from 26 Polish companies that include food, textile, construction, cosmetics and shipbuilding industries will be presented.

The visitors of the Autumn Fairs will be able to taste Polish cuisine specialties in the pavilion 7 every day.

On 15 September at 11,00 am at the Brijuni Hall of the Zagreb Fair the Croatian - Polish business gathering called “Promotion of the economic cooperation between Croatia and Poland” will take place.

It will bring together Croatian and Polish businessmen and representatives of institutions aiming at promotion of the economy and encouraging a more intensive business cooperation between our two countries as well as strengthening our mutual relations and economic bonds.

The gathering is expected to bring good business results since special, individual business talks between Croatian and Polish economists are planned.
