ARCA 2010 will be held at the Zagreb Fair grounds in parallel with the traditional Zagreb International Autumn Fair. It is a joint project of the Zagreb Fair, Croatian Association for Technical Culture, Croatian Union of Innovators, Business Innovation Center of Croatia – BICRO, Croatian Institute of Technology – HIT and many subjects belonging to state authorities and scientific circles.

This year's exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and with the support of the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Croatian Chamber of Economy and Croatian Chamber of Crafts.

PROGRAMME OF ARCA 2010:

• exhibition of inventions, new ideas, products and technologies
• participation of individual exhibitors-innovators, innovators-craftsmen, innovators from small and medium-sized entrepreneurial companies, group appearances of innovators' unions
• participation of Croatian innovators, economic subjects, institutes and research institutions, universities and schools
• participation of scientists and researchers, junior research assistants and young innovators
• chosen works of young innovators
• promotions of sponsors and co-sponsors of the exhibition
• promotional sales of registered new products
• activities of the advisory centre for innovators
• professional gatherings
• presentation of official awards – plaque ARCA 2008 (gold, silver and bronze plaque, mini grad prix and grand award of ARCA 2008)
• presentation of sponsors' awards

ARCA 2008 in figures:

• 350 innovations, scientific and research projects, graduate and undergraduate theses, high-school graduation papers, more than 500 authors
• 329 exhibitors from the Republic of Croatia and 17 countries at an exhibition space of 1,300 m 2 net; of which: 60% associations, trade companies, scientific, research and educational institutions and 40% of independent innovators; 28% of foreign and 72% of home exhibitors
• more than 70,000 visitors
• over 50 reporters from 25 print media, radio and TV reporters from 20 TV and radio stations, more than a hundred newspaper articles and reports in the electronic media
• several dozens of business talks and negotiations regarding the innovation transfer. The economic worth of negotiations and commercial sales of innovations at the Exhibition is estimated at some 2,800,000.00 kn.
