Trade Center Zagreb was the general organizer of Republic of Croatia's
appearance at EXPO'98, held in Lisbon, Portugal. Since 1998. has been proclaimed Year of the
Oceans by UN, the central theme of EXPO'98 was "The Oceans - a Heritage
for the Future". Following the exhibition theme, Croatia will be presented
trough the Adriatic Sea - its significance not only as a tourist
destination and natural beauty, but also trough urbanism, islands, culture
and way of living linked to the sea and oceans.
