In the pavilion 5 Ambienta brought together 125 exhibitors from 9 countries.
The Salon presented topical units Furniture and Interior Decoration and Industrial Programme, Design Zone, Art Fair Zagreb and Horeca programme. It featured exhibitors with various kinds of housing furniture, interior and exterior design equipment and production materials.
"We see Ambienta as a movement for the Croatian wood industry, a communication platform and a summit of related industries dealing with all aspects of housing, from construction to equipping and decoration of buildings, through design, art and special offer of household and catering industry appliances. It is Ambienta's mission that we have built together with our exhibitors and institutions.
We prepared this year's edition of the Salon under Covid conditions, in times of great business uncertainty, but we managed to gather the wood processing industry, furniture manufacturers, innovative designers, painters, artists and professionals in their fields. The Salon that will stay open until Sunday", said Mrs. Dina Tomšić, PhD, Zagreb Fair Managing Director/CEO during the official opening ceremony.
Ambienta was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Marija Vučković, MSc, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia, and Mr. Luka Korlaet, Deputy and Envoy to the Mayor of Zagreb also spoke at the ceremony.
Ambienta is the only fair of Zagreb Fair that has been continuously held in its traditional term.
This year again Design Zone presented high-quality products, available on the Croatian market, which unite all the needs of modern man, with the aim of creating a comfortable space to live and work in, be it interiors, exteriors or individual products. It gathered some 20 exhibitors, who showed the latest products series, some of which were given prestigious world design awards.
One of the attractions for visitors was the Police Museum Exhibition of Counterfeit Art titled "The Beauty of a False Shine", which displayed some 30 forged works by renowned Croatian and foreign authors. The already traditional auction by the Kontura auction house took place as well.
Admission to the fair was free against presentation of the EU digital COVID certificate or a valid negative test.
