AMBIENTA SUCCESSFULLY CLOSED

The new story of the idea, design, architecture, construction, housing and Croatian production was presented at this year's Ambienta from 9 - 13 October with enriched topics and contents as follows: FURNITURE and INTERIOR DECORATION, INDUSTRIAL PROGRAMME, CONSTRUCTION and EQUIPPING, HORECA - Living kitchen and ART FAIR ZAGREB.

"All the splendor of the project is reflected in this year's indicators: The Salon has been growing for the fourth year in a row, this year exponentially: 30% increase in exhibitors' participation and 50% in the total space covered. All ten pavilions of the Zagreb Fair are full. 461 exhibitors from 28 countries will present their best offer here. The figures speak of quantity, but not of the aesthetic experience of Ambienta, which by featuring enhanced topics and contents has turned into a true rhapsody of the wood, furniture and related industries, both Croatian and international", said Mrs. Dina Tomšić, PhD, Zagreb Fair Director.

The Salon recorded 21,259 visitors and the growth of the trade visitors' segment by 15% as compared to the year before.

Ambienta was accompanied by several professional gatherings: the panel "Development strategy for the wood processing and furniture industry", expert meeting Ambienta for architects, Produkteka on the topic of furniture production.

This year's Design Zone featured leading Croatian and foreign manufacturers as well as designers just finding their place at the market through two units in the pavilion 5. The entire space was under the curatorship of Mr. Nikola Radeljković (Numen/ForUse) and Ms. Ada Kezić (A1 Format).

Within the scope of Zagreb Art Fair the Kontura Auction House organized the auction of works of art from the Filip Trade Collection. The art director of the Zagreb Art Fair was Mr. Ante Potočnjak.
