Today Zagreb Fair saw the closing of BEAUTY&HAIR EXPO ZAGREB, the largest regional trade fair dedicated to beauty novelties and trends.
During three days, the Zagreb Fair Congress Center was the central venue in Zagreb and Croatia for many interested visitors, who were able to get all the news about the upcoming trends in the beauty industry and to do the shopping at affordable discount prices.
"Right at the beginning, I wish to emphasize the importance of holding trade fairs as promoters of small and medium-sized craftsmen and all related entities in the value chain, but also the economy as a whole. Our job here is to create and strengthen the satisfaction of exhibitors, visitors, clients and partners of Zagreb Fair. The positive news is that our largest regional fair on the topic of beauty is being held in its traditional term for the 23rd time in a row, dedicated to beauty novelties and trends, and that this year's edition has been complemented by a new model of professional programme. Within the exhibition segment of the fair there are a total of 70 exhibitors on 2,850 square meters of exhibition space. In cooperation with partners we have prepared a professional programme to take place during all three days", said Renata Suša, Zagreb Fair Director, at the official opening ceremony.
There were exhibitors from seven countries: Croatia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Poland and Italy.
Friday was traditionally dedicated to students and student competitions. Students of vocational schools from Oroslavlje, Slavonski Brod, Đakovo, Varaždin, Slatina, Samobor and Velika Gorica showed their skills during a hair show.
The Profokus College organized a nail art competition on the topic "Nail in Paris" inspired by the famous series "Emily in Paris". Great works, cheerful atmosphere and support from school friends revived the congress hall, and provided the contestants with an unforgettable experience. Titles for the best contestants were given to Mihaela Munjić, Barbara Matošin and Nives Martinić.
The Masterclass Euphoria vol II, lectures and presentations for vocational school students also took place. The theme of the masterclass were current trends inspired by the series for young people, Euphoria, whose second season is breaking viewership records precisely due to the modern, creative and trendy styling and makeup looks.
Thus, Martina Kallos, owner of the successful salon Kallos Lash Studio & Academy had a live presentation of one of the popular ways to get a refreshed look of the face, and that is brow lift technique. Josip Križjak, a famous hairdresser stylist, commented on hair styling trends and Kristina Atletić, mentor to makeup artists at the Profokus College, spoke about makeup trends.
Enthusiasm among the audience was caused by the arrival of the popular influencer Marco Cuccurin, who completed his makeup artist education at the Profokus College. He talked about his business career of a makeup artist and influencer.
Organized by the Voice of Entrepreneurs Association, the Women in Adria platform and Zagreb Fair, the well-attended Beauty&Business Conference was held on Saturday. The emphasis of the conference was on the quality excellence of provided services and ways to run a business in the beauty industry well and professionally.
The Hair Show organized by Top Style was scheduled for Sunday. Renowned hairdressers Josip Kežić, Amina Ćurčić, Senka Derifaj and Sead Nunić and makeup artists Zdenka Mihelj and Iva Kovačević presented the news on the hair, hair care and hairstyles, as well as on the related makeup.
