In her welcome address Marija Vučković, Minister of Agriculture emphasized that "The Ministry of Agriculture plays an important role in supporting competitiveness, but also in rural renewal, the return of young and vital rural communities. Our priorities in the negotiations with the EU are: food quality, biodiversity, generational renewal in rural areas, stable and fair income. Recently, we have been collaborating with a number of experts from the Faculty of Agriculture on development of aquaculture and diagnostics of agriculture, so as to draw as much as possible from EU funds 2021-2027 because 'Croatian farmers are at the heart of Croatia.'"
