International evaluation of brandy and liqueurs is organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology in Zagreb. An expert international panel will evaluate the color, clarity, typicality, aroma and taste of brandy/liqueur according to the scoring system from 1 to 20. The best champion sample will be announced in each category.

The educational and professional lectures aim at pointing out the relatively low culture of drinking brandy and liqueurs and insufficient knowledge of brandy in the wider population, but also in the hospitality sector. Brandy consumption is also threatened by aggressive marketing and financial strength in the competitive beverage industry, so this is also an opportunity to further popularize and promote the brandy culture, highlight the best producers who will be rewarded for the success and quality of brandy and liqueurs and to show how brandy connects people, creates friendships and spreads good will, because with brandy we celebrate birth, lay our departed to eternal rest, and also celebrate life!
