“Does digital disruption present a threat to your business and how to respond” - asked Mr. Tomislav Radoš, PhD, Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy for Industry and IT, Energy, and Environmental Protection, on the panel within the scope of the International conference "Exhibition industry - disruptor or disruptee?".


He also offered potential solutions: to create a cheaper product, to rely on personalization and the digital market. “The Zagreb Fair has already got not only the answer, but also the result”, he emphasized.

“After 11 years, with internal strength, good strategy and the application of a new business model, the Zagreb Fair has achieved a positive business result. We strive toward excellence as we realized long ago that we will either transform completely or die”, said Mrs. Dina Tomšić, PhD, Zagreb Fair Director.


President of the Management Board of Celje Fair, Mr. Franc Pangerl expressed the opinion that trade fairs will exist as long as there will be people. Mr. Nick Dugdale – Moore, UFI Representative for Europe and Mr. Marko Šantić, PhD, President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also shared their experience on this topic.
