The organizer Zagreb Fair is extremely pleased with the Interliber fair. As Dina Tomšić, Zagreb Fair Director, emphasized at the official opening, Interliber as the largest literary event in Croatia was positioned as an important platform for freedom of expression through the written word and dialogue of the domestic and international literary scenes. According to the results of all projects held this year at the Zagreb Fair, trade fair activities are experiencing a powerful expansion.
On the occasion of Interliber closing Mišo Nejašmić, President of the Croatian Association of Publishers and Booksellers said: "This year's edition of Interliber has kept the level and the course that we set last year and we have achieved more as concerns the increase of the exhibition space and the number of evens held within the accompanying programme. In terms of aesthetic Interliber has left the best impression so far, while the number of visitors equaled last year. According to publishers’ reports, the economic effect was also at the last year’s level, which is excellent news in the light of a smaller number of titles produced in the last few years. Also 95% of events within the programme, which was the most extensive this year, were realized. I wish to use the opportunity to thank all the people who stood on the other side of the counter with a smile on their face and were in the service of book promotion to all visitors at the fair. "
Inova, the 43rd International Invention Show and Budi uzor, the 14th Invention and Prototype Show and Student Business Plan Competition were held in parallel with Interliber.
