The largest regional fair dedicated to beauty novelties and trends presented through new products and services, look&learn educations and seminars, will be held traditionally at the beginning of spring, from 8 - 10 March.

The Zagreb Fair has been organizing trade fairs for more than 110 years, and the beauty segment for 20 years. Beauty & Hair Expo Zagreb raises the quality of tradition to a new level and opens doors to changes and innovations.

The project, which has been on the international trade fair stage for many years, successfully enables exhibitors to present novelties, promote products and demonstrate new techniques. At the same time trade visitors will be able to get acquainted with the latest trends, participate in inspirational and above all educational workshops held by domestic and foreign presenters, test their skills in make-up competitions and win valuable prizes.

The programme of the fair will be held in four pavilions of the Zagreb Fair (8, 8a, 9 and 11a) with 300 exhibitors at 13,500 m2 of exhibition space.

BEAUTY NOVELTIES, DISCOUNTS AND ADVICE

The fair is devoted to various segments of beauty and hair styling: cosmetics, hair care, natural preparations, salon equipment, nail care.

The beauty industry and the way it affects our perception of beauty is constantly changing. Beauty & Hair Expo is a venue for new discoveries, useful guidelines and information that the experts will be glad to share with the visitors. The goal of the event is to offer the possibility of personal, direct contact with potential partners and end users, and enable visitors to see under a single roof the comprehensive offer and novelties in this highly dynamic industry and profession.

Exhibitors will present novelties in the field of preparation and decorative cosmetics, the latest trends in cosmetic treatments, the upcoming trends in hair colouring, cutting and styling, nail design and cosmetics, modern cosmetic and hairdressing equipment as well as salon equipment.

The fair will also introduce new brands on the Croatian market such as Aden Cosmetics. It is quality decorative cosmetics not tested on animals, hypoallergenic and paraben-free. Another novelty is the so-called Make Up Eraser, a cloth that has become a world hit because it can remove even the waterproof make up with water. Afrodita cosmetics will present their latest skin care line called Perfect code. This is only a small part of what the exhibitors will offer during three days of the fair.

There is also the Green Zone, where Croatian natural cosmetics producers will display cosmetics without artificial ingredients.

TATTOO&BODY PAINTING

Every year we introduce novelties. This year for the first time you will be able to see the best Croatian tattoo artists in action within the scope of the Tattoo Arena project.

Tattoo Arena in cooperation with the Zagreb Fair and Beauty & Hair Expo Zagreb will present ten selected tattoo saloons, where the visitors will be able to get a tattoo, choose the motif of their tattoos, get information about tattooing and buy tattoo care products.

There will also be two competitions in the category of the best tattoos made at the Tattoo Arena on Saturday, 9 March and on Sunday, 10 March and the Croatian Body Painting Championship.

This appealing topic will attract a large number of body decoration enthusiasts.

HAIR SHOW

Another novelty of this year's edition is an extremely powerful segment of the hair industry with world renowned names from the sector.

Zagreb Fair and the partner TOP STIL are very pleased to present the educational two-day HAIR SHOW programme in the pavilion 8 at more than 2,500 m2 of creatively arranged space with award-winning world-famous hair artists: Guy Tang, Kevin Luchmun, Indira Schauwecker, Efi Davies and regional educators: Kanso Academy Zagreb, Sandra - Cookie the Barber, Nikola Radojević, Jovan Bedanski and Ivan Duda and Zeo and Alessia Baldi from Italy.

FASHION SHOW QUEEN OF CROATIA

On Saturday and Sunday, the Crostars fashion agency and the Queen of Croatia Direction will organize a fashion show of representatives who have won the Queen of Croatia title.

Along with the current Queen of Croatia, Ema Gračan, the special guest of the show will be the first Croatian chosen for the Queen of the World in 1989. Mrs. Danijela Mihalić Gračan.

The fashion show will also feature the Queen of Croatia 2015, Ms. Tina Živković, the Queen of Croatia 2016, Ms. Antoanet Levačić, the Queen of Croatia 2017, Ms. Paula Tandara and the princess of the current Queen of Croatia, Ms. Sonja Lončar.

COMPETITIONS FOR STUDENTS, EDUCATIONAL LECTURES

Friday, the first day of the fair is dedicated to hairdressing and make up competitions for secondary vocational school students.

Profokus College will organize a make-up competition for secondary school students and amateurs on the topic “Pop of Color”. As the title suggests, the competition will put an emphasis on intense, contrasting colours, thus allowing contestants to fully indulge into their imagination and present their own interpretation of the topic.

Moreover, the first nail design competition for students will be held under the title "Spring nail design". The topic of the competition is inspired by the arrival of the spring and the revival of nature.

The hairdressing competition for students will be organized by the Zagreb Fair and the Craftsmen Association of the City of Zagreb - Hairstylists' Section.

Young hairdressers will compete in three categories: day hairstyles, formal hairstyles and modern haircuts for men.

During the fair the students will provide visitors with free facials, natural nail care, day make up and more.

The weekend will offer interesting and educational lectures to be held on the stage of the pavilion 11a.

We wish to highlight the lecture on Maderotherapy - massage with a wooden roller for the best cellulite removal, which includes foot, abdominal and upper leg massage with special wooden rolls as well as a lecture on Silky BTX Optimage, a hair renewal treatment.

The innovative formula BTX is a major hit in the world, based on hyaluronic acid, collagen and amino acid that deeply moisturize the hair. The treatment is great for the hair exposed to frequent blow drying and straightening.
