Beauty & Hair Expo 2023 is intended both for professionals, who make direct contacts with stakeholders from the beauty industry and present their latest products and services during B2B meetings, as well as for the general public, to whom they provide the comprehensive and rich offer of this very dynamic and propulsive industry under a single roof.

The Fair will be held in the pavilions 7 and 7a and in the Zagreb Fair Congress Center. It will bring together 145 exhibitors at 4,200 m² of exhibition space.

BEAUTY NEWS, FAIR DISCOUNTS AND TIPS

The Fair is dedicated to different segments of the beauty industry: cosmetics, hair care, natural products, salon equipment, nail care.

Exhibitors will show novelties in the field of preparative and decorative cosmetics, the state-of-the-art cosmetic treatments, the upcoming trends in hair dying, cutting and styling, nail care and design, modern cosmetic and hairdressing equipment and accessories for salons.

Numerous interesting workshops will be held at the Fair, such as facial cleansing (how to create a beauty routine for skin cleanse in the morning and before going to bed, why it is important to maintain facial hygiene and how to determine the products suitable for your skin type), the workshop for making cream with hyaluronic acid and presentation of new products from renowned manufacturers. Also, if you are the owner of a beauty salon, you will surely be interested in the workshop on reducing the costs of raw materials and the presentation of applications to make your business operations and tasks easier, such as managing reservations, sending reminders via e-mail and preparing reports.

Kallos Academy will be presented with its entire team of educators and ambassadors. Presentations, live performances of treatments and free workshops will be organized for everyone who wants to hone their skills as lash&brow artists. During three days, a Kallos free workshop will be held at the stand, presenting various techniques on models (eyebrow powder, henna brows, brow lift, eyelash extensions).

CROATIAN CONGRESS OF AESTHETIC MEDICINE

The Italian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Croatian Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Tutela medici estetici Italia, and with the support of the World Council of Preventive Medicine, Regenerative Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine and Zagreb Fair, will organize the 4th Croatian Congress of Aesthetic Medicine with international participation on 10 March.

The Congress will gather 12 scientists and medicine doctors from Croatia, Italy, Lebanon and Poland: FABIANA CONTRI, MD, PATRIZIA SACCHI, MD, GIANLUCA RUSSO, MD, GIUSEPPE DI TORO, MD, ELMA BUNAR, MD, PROF. EMILIO BETTI, ENRICO MASSIDDA, MD, ANDREA SERVILI, MD, IBRAHIM EL ACHKAR, MD, ANDRZEJ IGNACIUK, MD, IVONNE ŽGALJARDIĆ, MD, MONICA LENTINI.

We are particularly pleased with the inauguration of the Scientific Committee of Italy and Croatia, which, with the support of the Italian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce, established Tutela medici estetici Croatia - the Scientific Committee for the Protection of Aesthetic Medicine in Italy and Croatia.

With reference to the novelties in the field of aesthetic medicine, the Congress will discuss diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in facial treatment with a focus on three areas - the upper, middle and lower third of the face, the treatment of MD points and local adiposity, as well as the use of hyaluronidase and the analysis of the psychological aspect of aesthetic medicine patients.

According to the definition of the World Health Organization, health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being. Aesthetic medicine plays an important role in achieving full health and can help the body feel good and look good at any age with a preventive and therapeutic approach.

BEAUTY&BUSINESS CONFERENCE

Sunday, 12 March is reserved for the 2^nd Beauty&Business Conference organized by the Voice of Entrepreneurs Association, the Woman in Adria platform and Zagreb Fair.

A job in the beauty sector is an inexhaustible source of income. The demand for beauty products and services is growing right now and will continue to grow in the future.

The beauty industry is actively developing and is always in demand. It is one of the fastest growing segments of entrepreneurship in the service sector, and one of the main reasons is the wide target audience. In this field you combine the pleasant with the useful - a respectable income and satisfaction for the soul. Practice shows that a job in this branch is an excellent opportunity to realize yourself and at the same time earn decent money. Some of the topics to be covered are: Beauty Trends on Social Networks, Franchises in the Beauty Industry, Communication with Clients and Business Partners, and the panel Indicators of Quality in the Beauty Industry.

BARBER BATTLE SHOW CROATIA 2023

For the first time in Croatia, we wish to announce a big international barbering competition of Croatia - Barber Battle Croatia 2023 taking place on Saturday, 11 March. The organizers are Barber Battle from the Czech Republic, who organized the competition with the aim of connecting the barbering community (competitions are held in the Czech Republic, Croatia, the Baltics, Bulgaria and Austria). Participants compete in four different categories: Freestyle haircut, Fast Fade, Ladies Barber and Classic cut.

Renowned barbers Volodimir Kendra, Jaroslav Vachata and Robert Kellner will be the jury. The winners will receive valuable prizes and a trophy.

COMPETITIONS, FASHION SHOWS

Friday, the first day of the Fair, is dedicated to hairdressing competitions for secondary vocational school students. The hairdressing competition for students will be held in three categories: women's daily retro hairstyle, women's formal hairstyle and men's modern hairstyle. 62 students from 11 vocational schools from all over Croatia will compete.

Profokus College will organize a make-up and nail competition with the theme "Wednesday", which will take place on Friday, 10 March. The theme of this year's competition is inspired by the heroine of the same name from the popular TV series. The contestants have the task of creating the best make-up look in dark shades and transferring their creative ideas to the nails through painting and a combination of colours and designs. Depending on the given theme, they can be decorated with various techniques - 3D design, gel or acrylic, and painted with gels, permanent polish, ordinary polish and acrylic paints.

On Friday, Top Stil will hold a "Look&Learn" seminar on the stage in pavilion 7 for secondary vocational school students titled Student for student: come, see, learn, love your profession.

During the Fair, students will provide visitors with free facial cosmetic treatments, natural nail care, daily make-up, etc.

The Crostars fashion agency and the Queen of Croatia Direction will hold a fashion show during the Fair, featuring previous Queens of Croatia and the finalists of the Queen of Zagreb and the Queen of Croatia competitions. The School of Fashion and Design will also hold a fashion show.
