CROAGRO AND FOOD AND HEALTHY LIVING FAIRS OPENED

Today CroAGRO and FOOD AND HEALTHY LIVING FAIRS were inaugurated.

"It is a special pleasure for us to end the business year with the successful realization of fairs that are important for the City of Zagreb and the Republic of Croatia. The fair that agriculture deserves has the best agriculture has to offer, and together with the Food and Healthy Living Fairs there is a complete offer From farm to fork.

This term records the growth of fair indicators year after year and forms a sound basis for positioning the fair as the central national agricultural event in the Republic of Croatia. As such, both fairs are an important platform for the presentation of all topics in the field of agriculture, food and sustainable living, as well as the promotion of occupations in agriculture.

The number and leading structure of the exhibition segment, totaling at 416 exhibitors from 32 countries, are a guarantee of the quality of the offer, as they will present their products and services in 4 pavilions at 12,000 m2 of exhibition space", said Mrs. Renata Suša, Zagreb Fair Director, at the official opening.

The fairs were inaugurated by the Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Mr. Tomislav Tomašević, who stated: "It is a great honor for me that the City of Zagreb has traditionally sponsored the International Fair of Agriculture, Agricultural Equipment and Machinery CroAgro and the Food and Healthy Living Fairs. Agriculture is a strategic branch of the economy in the Republic of Croatia. We in the City of Zagreb support the production of local food, i.e. short supply chains, the strategy From farm to fork and in particular we support the growing share of agricultural production under ecological cultivation."

Mladen Jakopović, President of the Croatian Chamber of Agriculture, called the CroAgro Fair a beacon in the city of Zagreb and invited everyone to buy local products. H.E. Mr. Raj Kumar Srivastava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Croatia, expressed his satisfaction with the return to the fair and the fact that India is a partner country of the Food and Healthy Living Fairs.

Tugomir Majdak, State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia and the Envoy to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, pointed out that the Ministry is the patron of the fair and emphasized the traditionally good relationship between the Ministry and Zagreb Fair. Mrs. Martina Ciglević, MSc, Assistant to the Economic Adviser in the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia and the Envoy to the President of the Republic, greeted the attendees and briefly commented on the situation in the agricultural sector.

CroAgro - the top national and the central agricultural event brings together farmers, manufacturers and experts from the entire region under a single roof every year. The fair is an ideal platform for networking and exchanging experiences and knowledge at B2B meetings, presenting new products and services, as well as sharing experiences with visitors for improving their own business.

Food and Healthy Living Fairs are the national event on the topic of food, healthy living and restoration of natural balance of man through a complementary approach. The emphasis is on a healthy lifestyle, return to nature and the sustainable way of life. From year to year the Healthy Living Fairs with their distinctive segments Food, KrOnoplja&Organica, APItera and Mystic are recording an increasing interest from visitors, exhibitors and experts.
