In 2022, Zagreb Fair and the Croatian Dental Chamber will continue their successful long-term cooperation on the organization of the International Dental Fair DENTEX to take place from 9 - 11 June.

The Dentex Fair will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health.

During three days, this biennial fair as the largest, central event of dental medicine in the region, will present novelties, the equipment and modern technological achievements as well as enable direct communication of business partners and exchange of experiences.

More than 250 exhibitors from 31 countries will be featured in the pavilion 5 of Zagreb Fair. The fair is attended by the most important global and domestic manufacturers of high quality dental equipment.

Exhibition segment, education and new technologies

With the concept of merging the exhibition of equipment for dental surgeries and laboratories with the professional and educational programme for the implementation of new technologies in practice, the Dentex Fair has been successfully positioned as the leader in the wider region. This is the result of a successful long-term cooperation between the Croatian Dental Chamber, as the sectoral umbrella institution and initiator of the project, headed by its President, Hrvoje Pezo, MD, MSc and Zagreb Fair as the leading trade fair organizer in the region. The brand, which has been created over more than 10 years of cooperation, has been recognized by thousands of dental professionals.

The exhibition segment presents the entire range of appliances, instruments, equipment and materials for dental offices and laboratories, and there is a significant increase in companies that offer IT support to dental practice whose software and competencies are essential in today's business processes. Along with renowned lecturers from Croatia and the world they all make Dentex a referral and unavoidable place for all stakeholders in the world of dental medicine.

The Dentex Fair registers a continuous growth of trade fair indicators, the time of pandemic excluded; from the first fair held back in 2010 to 2018 the number of exhibitors rose by 97% and the size of the exhibition space by 124%.

PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME

Congress, Panel discussion and LIVE OP - live operations

At the Dentex Fair a great attention is paid to professional content. The Croatian Dental Chamber organizes an always up-to-date programme for the dental profession from dental medicine doctors to dental technicians and assistants.

In a specially arranged dental office at the fair, it will be possible to watch live operations, LIVE OP, some of the interesting examples and procedures from practice (e.g. sports mouthguard, teeth grinding for veneers, how to motivate the patient to conduct proper oral hygiene, application of dermal fillers in facial aesthetics and similar).

Congress topics: Contemporary dentistry - a complete digital approach; Digitization of endodontic and restorative procedures - qualitative shift in the therapy of dental diseases; Microsurgical approach in recession therapy and regenerative surgery.

On Saturday, a panel discussion is scheduled with topics: Communication skills in dentistry; Legal, administrative and other professional issues and ethics in dental medicine.

In addition, the Croatian Dental Chamber, the umbrella professional organization, will provide its members with advisory assistance on legal, tax and other current issues.

The fair will be inaugurated by Mr. Vili Beroš, Minister of Health of the Republic of Croatia, on Friday, 10 June 2022 at 10:45 h in the pavilion 5 at Zagreb Fair.
