Zagreb Boat Show confirms its status as a regional leader: 34 premieres and sale of the most expensive speedboat mark the week

Zagreb Fair saw the closing of the Zagreb Boat Show and the Zagreb Hunting Fair, which attracted numerous visitors, exhibitors and enthusiasts from the nautical and hunting sectors.

This year's editions confirmed the status of these fairs as the key meeting points for industry professionals and innovation. Through a rich programme and significant new developments, the fairs were once again positioned as unmissable destinations for all lovers of an active lifestyle at sea and in nature.

Zagreb Boat Show

This year’s Zagreb Boat Show shone in full splendour, featuring as many as 34 Croatian boat premieres. The backbone of the fair - domestic shipbuilding, demonstrated top-quality craftsmanship through presentations by renowned names such as Pičuljan, Leidi, Bura Boats, Arba, Barracuda Boats and Sidrotec.

The international character of the fair was confirmed by leading global brands, including Jeanneau, Beneteau, Prestige, Nimbus, Saxdor, Wellcraft, Four Winns, Ranieri, Karnic, Brik, Tiger Marine, Lazarus Yacht and Highfield.

This year’s Zagreb Boat Show was characterized by the sale of the most expensive exhibited vessel, the futuristic Lazarus 38 speedboat. This commercial success of the Lazarus Yachts fleet further strengthened the status of the Zagreb Boat Show as an indispensable regional hub and a key indicator of the strong growth of the luxury boat market.

Special emphasis this year was placed on the Nautical & Health Summit 2026, which brought together experts from nautical tourism and medicine (Natko Beck, MD, Prof. Prim. Nikša Drinković, PhD,  Nikša Drinković Jr., MD, Antonija Drmić, Sanela Grujo Vrkljan, MD, Ana Lelas, Nataša Manestar, Tomislav Salopek, Mario Knego). The discussions focused on Croatia’s potential as a destination combining nautical tourism with high-quality healthcare, highlighting the importance of additional premium content offered to guests. The combination of top medical expertise, natural beauty and luxury services positions Croatia as a safe and elite Mediterranean base.

Zagreb Hunting Fair

The Zagreb Hunting Fair gathered numerous hunters and nature lovers, offering a blend of the state-of-the-art equipment and traditional values. The leading exhibitors at the fair were: Croatian Hunting Federation, Zagreb Archery Association, Hrvatske šume (Croatian Forests), Zagreb City Zoo, Croatian Kennel Club,Lovac, Detonex, Rusan, Kavur, Silve Pro, HS Produkt, Pointer, Kloštar 900, Hunter, Camo Corner, Reloader, Equip, Fenris Hunting, Alestary, Artemis Hunting, Replikart, Ritoša, Alpina.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the latest hunting equipment and try their hand at archery. The programme was enriched with expert lectures, a hunting dog show and a mushroom exhibition, while the overall experience was rounded off with the traditional hunting goulash.

The Zagreb Boat Show was opened by Luka Korlaet, Deputy Mayor of Zagreb, who emphasized that the impressive figures of more than 300 exhibitors and 230 boats confirm Zagreb's status as the most beautiful “port on land“ that connects tradition and outstanding engineering.
 
Mato Čičak, President of the Hunting Federation of Zagreb County, opened the Zagreb Hunting Fair, noting that the fair will become a future meeting point for hunters and announced the expansion of the event next year.
 
This year’s fairs attracted 20% more visitors, confirming the popularity and significance of both fairs in the nautical and hunting worlds.
 
These fairs represent an excellent opportunity for all lovers of boating and hunting to discover novelties, gain new knowledge and enjoy various activities, further promoting Croatia as a destination for lovers of the sea, nature and hunting tourism.
