CroAGRO

The fifth jubilee edition of the CroAGRO Fair once again confirms its status of the only professional and entrepreneurial agricultural fair in Croatia, as well as the central meeting point for the entire agricultural community.

The exhibition, professional and educational segments of the fair include the latest machinery, equipment and tools, essential production materials and innovations in digitalization of agriculture.

Over the past five years, CroAGRO has strengthened its recognition on the market, enjoying strong support from all relevant institutions and media coverage. Its slogan “The Fair That Agriculture Deserves” reflects its focus on addressing the real needs of farmers. Visitors from all over Croatia seek concrete solutions; from finding labour and acquiring equipment to improving their business operations.

This year again the exhibition segment includes the very best in agricultural machinery and technology, featuring globally renowned brands such as Massey Ferguson, Deutz-Fahr, Claas, John Deere, Fendt and others.

Special emphasis is placed on domestic production: Croatian manufacturers of agricultural machinery, such as Megametal, Čalopek, Leško, Strojometal Faić and others, continue to demonstrate their significance and quality in the market.
The dates of the fair are ideally scheduled to correspond with the period of low agricultural activity, allowing farmers to dedicate themselves without haste to education, networking and preparation for the upcoming season.

An attraction for visitors is organized by the Oldtimers Club Turopolje from Velika Gorica. In pavilion 8, they will display nine vintage tractors manufactured between 1954 and 1965 in Germany, Austria and Italy. Founded in 2021, the Club regularly participates in major events across Croatia, promoting the preservation of technical and agricultural heritage. Educational tours for schools and kindergartens will also be prepared, aiming to convey the story of the importance of tractors in agriculture and the need to preserve this historical legacy.

The fair is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia, the City of Zagreb, the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Croatian Chamber of Agriculture, the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food and the Croatian County Association.

Focus on the Future of the Sector: Conference on Sustainable Workforce

What sets CroAGRO apart is its strong emphasis on expertise, reflected in the rich conference programme, panel discussions and free education for farmers. The central event of this year’s fair is the professional conference titled Sustainable Workforce: The Path to Efficient Agriculture to take place on 5 December 2025 at the Winter Garden, Zagreb Fair Congress Hall.

The Conference aims to actively address the pressing issue of the shortage of qualified workforce in the agricultural sector, providing a platform to explore concrete solutions.

This professional gathering encourages open discussion and the exchange of experiences and best practices. Its ultimate goal is to explore innovative approaches that will advance the domestic agricultural sector and ensure its competitiveness in the global context. By bringing together experts, employers, academic community and decision makers, the Conference seeks to identify obstacles and promote models that lead to sustainable employment. Additionally, the event intends to raise awareness among young people about the importance of pursuing a career in the sector, thereby actively securing the future of Croatian agriculture.

The Conference is intended for a wide range of stakeholders, including employers in agriculture, forestry and the processing sector, business professionals, employment agencies as well as the academic community, university and vocational secondary school students, highlighting the importance of a direct connection between education and the economy.

The Conference is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
