ZAGREB BOAT SHOW 2023 - THE JUBILEE 30TH INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
After a two-year pause, Zagreb Boat Show finally returns in its full splendor to the stage of events, presenting all the beauty and innovation of the nautical offer.

From 22 to 26 February Zagreb Fair traditionally commences its business year with the most attended and entrepreneurial nautical fair in Croatia.

The fair enjoys support of the City of Zagreb and the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.

Zagreb Boat Show is a business event, a venue where boaters and all relevant stakeholders from the nautical industry have been meeting for 30 years. At the fair, over 280 exhibitors from 27 countries will exhibit at 15,500 m2.

Visitors can expect more than 250 showcased vessels as well as a superb offer of yachts, speedboats, boats, kayaks, dinghies, marine engines and outboard motors, equipment for diving, sailing and other water sports, promotion of new boats and nautical equipment on the Croatian market, an attractive exhibition of nautical photography and beautiful specimens of traditional Croatian shipbuilding in wood.

Here are almost all important local shipbuilders, who have recognized the fair as a place where Croatian business excellence, tradition and experience meet the enthusiasm of visitors and boaters.

The respectable figure of more than 20,000 visitors browsing the offer in Zagreb Fair pavilions during five days is a sure indication of the importance of the fair of this kind. Zagreb Boat Show is the only nautical industry fair held in continental Croatia, with continuous and steady growth in the segments of exhibition space and number of visitors.

"To sail, to discover, to live" has been the guiding theme of the Zagreb Boat Show for many years. Due to the variety of its offer, the fair is interesting for both business people and the general public, as it offers everything that boating enthusiasts need under the same roof: from the exhibition segment, B2B meetings of the nautical branch to attractions for the general public.

INTERESTING PROGRAMME FOR VISITORS

On Thursday, 23 February, our "golden" rowers, brothers Martin and Valent Sinković, will be guests on the stage in the aula between pavilions 10A and 11A of Zagreb Fair.

In the pavilion 9, a workshop for repairing SUP boards and inflatable kayaks will be held every day - a mini course on how to repair a SUP board or kayak yourself.

From the professional and accompanying programme we wish to highlight the Meeting of Young Business Professionals in the Boating Industry, organized by Misli More. Misli More is an interdisciplinary platform that aims to educate younger generations about the nautical industry and the possibilities of sustainable development in this branch, as well as educate existing companies in the boating industry that do not use the principles of the circular economy through personalized education services.

The attention of visitors will certainly be attracted by the elegant examples of traditional Croatian shipbuilding in wood; Neretva lađa and trupa wooden boats organized by the Opuzen Association for preservation of heritage of Neretva. Among others, they will put on an exhibition on the topic "Lađa and trupa wooden boats in the Neretva region", a presentation of the films "Sons and Daughters of the Neretva Pirates" and "Neretva Marathon Runners", a round table on the topic of integrating the lađa boat in continental regions and a presentation on the role of the lađa boat in the life of the Neretva region with reference to the photo safari.
