From 20 - 22 February 2026, the ZAGREB HUNTING FAIR, the 8th Hunting Equipment Fair, will take place at Zagreb Fair.
The fair is held with the support of the permanent partner, the Croatian Hunting Federation.
The Zagreb Hunting Fair is the central regional event that brings together manufacturers and distributors of renowned global brands of hunting, sports, military and security equipment in the pavilion 8. It is an unmissable annual meeting point for numerous hunters, manufacturers, traders and associations from this part of Europe.
The fair is supported by: Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Hunting Federation.
Partners of the fair include: Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia - Zagreb Police Department, Hrvatske šume (Croatian Forests), Croatian Archery Association, the Zagreb Zoo and the Croatian Weapon Owners Association (HUVO).
Synergy of tradition, innovation and sustainable management of natural resources
The Zagreb Hunting Fair is a strategic platform for promoting and advancing hunting tourism, with a special focus on the untapped potential of continental Croatia.
The goal is to present the state-of-the-art technology and equipment to distributors and hunting enthusiasts while promoting hunting as an activity based on coexistence with nature. Alongside the exhibition segment, the fair offers a rich educational and professional programme focused on the role of hunting in biodiversity conservation, modern trends and legal frameworks for wildlife and habitat protection.
Visitors can expect renowned global brands of hunting firearms, premium optics, specialized clothing and footwear and accompanying equipment. The programme comprises a broad spectrum from kynology and trophy exhibitions to hunting-themed art and sports shooting.
For manufacturers, participation in the fair represents a key step in strengthening brands, securing market position and increasing international competitiveness in a dynamic business environment.

ATTRACTIONS FOR VISITORS
An interesting accompanying programme is organized for all visitors to the Zagreb Hunting Fair:

A special emphasis is placed on high-quality firearms and ammunition, sold under strictly controlled conditions, along with presentations of the latest optics, scopes and modern hunting technologies.
The Croatian Hunting Federation will organize a Diorama exhibition and prepare traditional hunting goulash at its exhibition space. Visitors will also be able to attend hunting dog shows, meet falconers and learn about birds of prey and falconry.
At the stand of the Zagreb Archery Association, visitors can try archery under professional supervision, while children can enjoy the “Mushroom themed” playroom.
Members of the Croatian Hunting Federation will get a 20% discount on a single ticket upon presentation of their hunting card or if they arrive dressed in a formal hunting attire.
EXPERT LECTURE
As part of the professional programme, all interested visitors will have the opportunity to attend lectures on current topics: “Safe Hunting”, the dangers of explosive devices and “Less Weapons-Fewer Tragedies”, organized by the Prevention Service of the Zagreb Police Department, as well as “Wild Edible Plants” and “The Work and Activities of the Kamilo Blagaić Mycological Society”, organized by the Kamilo Blagaić Mycological Society.
EDUCATIONAL ZOO
The Zagreb City Zoo will participate in the Zagreb Hunting Fair this year as well.
In the area of the City of Zagreb, 12 hunting grounds have been established and for areas where the founding of hunting grounds is prohibited, two wildlife protection programmes have been implemented: the Wildlife Protection Programme for the Medvednica Nature Park (PZD Medvednica) and the Wildlife Protection Programme for the City of Zagreb (PZD Zagreb).
The Zagreb Zoo is included in the implementation of the Wildlife Protection Programme for the City of Zagreb. In cooperation with the City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning and the Zagreb Hunting Federation it provides care for sick and injured wildlife from the area covered by the Zagreb Wildlife Protection Programme.
At the Zagreb Hunting Fair, the Zagreb Zoo will present its work on the implementation of the mentioned programme.
At the Zagreb Zoo’s exhibition space, visitors will be able to view an exhibition of live traps, take part in demonstrations of techniques for capturing various animal species and attend a series of short and engaging lectures. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of citizens in rescuing wild animals and visitors will learn how to respond when encountering a sick or injured animal.
OFFICIAL OPENING
The official opening of the Zagreb Boat Show will take place on Wednesday, 18 February 2026 at 11:00 in the atrium between pavilions 10A and 11A of Zagreb Fair.
The official opening of the Zagreb Hunting Fair will be held on Friday, 20 February at 11:00 in the pavilion 8.

Single admission ticket for hunters, who present a hunting license or arrive dressed in formal hunting attire, is € 7.
